Review of our show with British India. FUCK YEAH!
" Untainted, honest, riffy rock with priceless power chords as comfortable in distortion as a pair of old trackie pants."
Three gigs down in three days, and it’s one year to the day that we played our very first gig as Custom Royal! and still two more gigs to come this week!!
A year ago today, We (Custom Royal) played our first ever show at a local battle of the band, where we place 2nd! It was a slow start for us, for a few months after that, gigs were still rare occasions.
A year on today, we will be performing our 3rd show in row (this weekend) We haven’t stopped gigging! So proud of our achievements in one year! I’d never have guessed we would be where we are right now, having achieved what we have. (Supports for British India, (Twice) Stonefield, Kevin Borich, Datura, and many others. We have played festivals, we’ve released a music video and made the final 8 of an Australia-wide song-writing competition. Not to mention our song is being played on Melbourne radio!!! I’m as proud as you’ll ever get right now. Well done guys, FUCK YEAH!
but we had to turn down a bunch because im going away for three months in june… wah

Last night was my band’s first headline show. we played at the norfolk basement with Jesse and the Joekas and Dylan McCoy. Doors opened at 8 and by 8:30 the place was packed, and stayed that way until the end of the night! the vibe was awesome as a result of awesome music from all the bands! i have never seen the basement so packed!! there was probably 150 people crammed in there!! thankyou so much to the bands and everyone for comming down and making it such an awesome night! :D
